Days 1 to 3 - Vientiane

Arrive in the capital and check in to your hotel. Over the next two days enjoy sightseeing trips to see the major attractions of Phnom Penh. Start of with Wat Phnom, a popular gathering place for the locals, followed by visits to the National Museum, Wat Onaloum, the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda and the Central Market. Also visit the Tuong Sleng Museum and visit the 'killing fields' at Choeung Ek. Spend any free time exploring the markets and shops of Phnom Penh or relax at a roadside cafe. |

Days 3 to 6 - Siem Reap

Stay at La Residence d'Angkor

Fly to Siem Reap and transfer to your hotel. The town itself is pleasant and is the entry point for the Angkor Archeological Park. Spend the next two days exploring the famous and magnificent Angkor temples, including Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, Bayon and Ta Phrom. Also see the beautiful Bantaey Sri and Phnom Kulen temples. Enjoy the views of the temples at sunset from the upper terraces of a temple. Further sightseeing includes a boat trip on Tonle Sap Lake and a visit to Kbal Spean to see the bedrock carvings. |
