The China Pavilion is designed with the concept of "Oriental Crown." It consists of the 47,000-square-meter Chinese national pavilion, 38,000-square-meter Regional joint pavilion and 3,300-square-meter pavilion of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. The organizer will mainly exhibit the country's achievements in urban development from ancient through modern times. |

Britain has chosen a fascinating ‘lit cube’ design for its national pavilion at the World Expo 2010 Shanghai. It looks like a huge gift box from the UK to China. Inside the pavilion there will be an exhibition about "bringing nature back into the city." The pavilion will be as ecological as possible and the designers are trying to make all the aspects recyclable and carbon-neutral. |
